Big Sister:

 

In the future world, a computer system was created by the Corporation in order to manage the affairs of the entire population was created. This system was known as "Big Sister". The Programmers in charge of Big Sister created many sub systems, and in order to give her a human face, an image of a popular idol singer was given to her. Big Sister appeared in her form, so that humans could interact with her as they would another human. Big Sister's recommendations lead to peace and prosperity in the new world for a time, however, people started following her advice without questioning it.

 

After a generation of peace, there began to be problems. Big Sister lost much of her memory in a hardware crash, and without her knowledge they did not know how to repair her entirely. Many sub systems began to malfunction, operating incorrectly without Big Sister being aware. One such system was the Bio Manufacturing System, which began over producing monsters. An automatic response to the system created robots to fight them, but they began to go haywire as well. The crisis made people lose their faith in Big Sister, yet they did not know how to repair the damage without her help. The Corporation requests human assistance to remove the threats while the Programmers left in this generation work with Big Sister, who is attempting to restore her lost programming, and correct some of the faults of the system.
